PlayBox Technology Has Record IBC 2009

The international 'TV station in a box' manufacturer, PlayBox Technology, reports that IBC 2009 was a great success for the company.
Visitor numbers, sales leads and promised orders were all at new highs for the company. Despite expanding the floor space from the previous year, the stand was still packed and more floor space has been booked for next year.
CEO Vassil Lefterov commented: "Our success at IBC 2009 was a reflection of our hard work and progress over the last 12 months, to introduced new products with much wider market coverage. It showed that PlayBox Technology has now gained wide recognition and that the current economic climate is good for us; encouraging people to look for good products at competitive prices."
Don Ash, Director of Sales, stated: "This was our best IBC yet. It was busy from 9:45am on Thursday to around 2:30pm on Tuesday with a broad spectrum of interest from start-up stations to the well-known established broadcasters. Our 'cost effective' message, '100 per cent functionality for 25 per cent of the cost' is getting through and seems to be right for these times."
He continued: "Many came to see what all the 'fuss and commotion' at the PlayBox stand was about and mentioned we were the busiest stand in the hall - others said in the whole of IBC. Whatever the truth, our sales have continued to increase to new records throughout this recession and the total of delivered playout and branding systems now stands at over 7,500 worldwide."
Interest was spread across the entire product range with new products TimeShiftBox time delay server for +1 channels, µPlay entry-level video and graphics playout package, PlayBox Metus MAM media asset management and PlayBox DS digital signage all attracting particular attention.
