Last.fm Names Smartclip As UK Online Video Advertising Partner

European interactive video network smartclip, has announced a new publisher deal with Last.fm, the popular social music network.



smartclip will work with Last.fm to create interactive visual branding opportunities for advertisers and sponsors across Last.fm's recently launched Personalised Visual Music Player.

With a passionate base of 37 million music fans, Last.fm has launched a number of initiatives to further improve user engagement and experience and increase advertising revenues. The deal follows smartclip's successful launch in the UK and adds another strong brand to its rapidly expanding publisher portfolio, which also includes Zattoo, the online TV player.

Miles Lewis, Senior Vice President, International Sales at Last.fm, commented: "We were looking for a partner that could carve out unique branding opportunities on our new visual music player. smartclip has the expertise and experience to assist Last.fm in creating engaging advertising opportunities for brands and sponsors that are targeting our audience."
