Sport Meets Technology In London Conference

An important media event, 'Sport and Technology: The Conference' is taking place this summer in London.
It returns to the state-of-the art facilities at BT Centre on 4 June and is the fifth year in a row for the high level discussions on the fast-paced world of technology and sport.
The conference wlll bring together an array of sports properties and technology and digital solutions providers to discuss what's hot and what's not in the sector.
Digital solutions provider BT Media and Broadcast is the title sponsor and the event is being organised by SportBusiness.
Targeting broadcasters, facilities companies, web production companies and technology companies in the media world as well as sporting organisations, it is billed as the perfect forum for technology providers to learn from, and network with, their industry peers.
Announcing the sponsorship, Mark Wilson-Dunn, Global Sales and Marketing Director of BT Media and Broadcast, said: "BT Media and Broadcast is delighted to be returning as headline sponsor of 'Sport and Technology: The Conference', as we welcome back the must-attend event to BT Centre in the heart of London.
"During these times of economic difficulties, it is even more important for rights owners to maximise the benefits they can gain from effective technology strategies."
The full details of this year's speakers are not yet available, but past contributors have included Simon Long, Managing Director of the World Rally Championship TV provider, International Sportsworld Communicators.
In addition to its staple of insightful panel discussions and keynote addresses involving prolific industry leaders, this year's conferecne will continue its popular showcase session allowing technology-providers to outline their contributions to sport, and sports properties to illustrate how technology has helped to grow their fanbases using specific case studies.
