MoMedia Inks GO!VIEW Deal With BSkyB |
|
MoMedia International, a leading producer and distributor of digital entertainment, has agreed a distribution deal with Sky to provide content for GO!VIEW, the new video-on-demand service for the PlayStation Portable (PSP).
MoMedia will supply GO!VIEW with 10 episodes per month of 'The Aiya! Gang', Asia's answer to 'Jackass', Endemol-owned brand 'JoeCartoon' and 'Kamikaze Videos', a funniest home videos meets 'Dirty Sanchez' series.
Aiya Media's hit show 'The Aiya! Gang' (also known as 'MTV Whatever Things') has been the top-rated show on MTV Asia for three years running. Packed with gut-wrenching action, hilarious celebrity pranks and mind-numbingly stupid stunts, 'The Aiya! Gang' is the most jaw-dropping stunt/prank show on Asian TV.
Online animation site JoeCartoon.com was acquired by Endemol in 2007 and is a series of animations, funny videos and cartoons popular for their tongue-in-cheek violence - particularly towards gerbils. To date the site has had over 350 million views - it's well known 'Frog in a Blender' short has had over 110 million views alone.
'Kamikaze Videos', developed by Kami Media, is an exhilarating, high-impact entertainment experience aimed squarely at the interest-savvy youth market. 'Kamikaze Videos' can be accessed across multiple media platforms including broadband internet, mobile phones and soon TV.
Lucas Bertrand, CEO & Co-Founder of MoMedia International, said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for MoMedia to get involved with GO!VIEW, a brilliant new portable entertainment service.
"Allowing audiences to download content from their PC to view on this portable device will encourage more people to get online and start accessing great entertainment."
Further information, including a free one-month trial to GO!VIEW, is available at: www.goview.tv.
