CaribeVision Appoints Leticia Del Monte As Director Of Advertising, Promotions And PR |
|
CaribeVision, a 24/7 Hispanic television network designed and dedicated to serving Caribbean Hispanic audiences, has named Leticia del Monte as Director of Advertising, Promotion and Public Relations for CaribeVision Station Group and CaribeVision Networks.
The appointment is effective immediately and was announced by Carlos Barba, President and CEO of programming at CaribeVision.
Mr Barba said: "Ms del Monte's vast experience and knowledge of the industry will be a welcome addition to the CaribeVision team."
Ms del Monte has been in the broadcasting business for more than 20 years and has produced a variety of popular television and radio broadcasts. Prior to joining CaribeVision, Ms del Monte most recently served as the General Producer and Managing Editor of Zona Cero-Clasica 92.3 FM for the Spanish Broadcasting System. She also recently was the General Producer for '25 Mitos y 25 Realiadades', a series of Spanish-language PSAs to increase AIDS awareness and the promotion of HIV prevention.
For the Telemundo Network, Ms del Monte executive-produced 'Cotorreando'. She also was the Senior Producer for the network's 'Al rojo vivo' - facilitating the news gathering process and ensuring comprehensive coverage of all news stories. Earlier in her career, she was the show producer for Telemundo's 'Ocurrio Asi'.
Ms del Monte also worked on production of programming that aired on the Univision Network, including such shows as 'Show de Cristina' (Show Producer), Noticias 23' (General Producer of both the 6pm and 10pm newscasts) and 'Primer Impacto Edicion Nocturna\ (Line Producer).
Her media experience also includes online content. As Editor-in-Chief for Beauty & Fashion, Ms del Monte was responsible for launching the niche market internet site Divina.com. While there she oversaw the development of all editorial content, as well as the style and design of the site. Ms del Monte also served as the content manager for entre-nos.com, supervising all content for the six channels of the website and directing public relations for the site.
