Deskspace Launch Post Production Pro Integrated Information Systems |
|
Deskspace pioneers of integrated information systems for professionals, announced the launch of Post Production Pro, a comprehensive range of powerful and secure, easy-to-use, interfaces, services and functions enabling a post production business to run more efficiently and profitably.
The company has announced its first installation at Shepperton Studios where it will be used to manage the Post Production Sound facilities.
"Integrating job, task and time management, and billing, Post Production Pro is an integrated information system featuring a comprehensive set of tools for each user.
Deskspace say that Post Production Pro has the power and flexibility to deliver large projects with complex rates and prices but is intuitive and easy enough to use in tracking the smallest jobs as well.
Comprehensive reporting allows analysis of creatives and facilities performance and efficiency, with both an integral mail server and web publishing that enables automatic communication with clients where required."
"For us, Deskspace's unique selling point is the benefit of having an information system set up exactly as we want it to be, like with custom software, but with the great benefit of not having the open ended costs and uncertainty over whether or not it will actually work, which inevitably arises when commissioning custom development," commented Giles Farley, Head of International Sound Post Production at Pinewood Shepperton Group PLC.
"We are extremely pleased with the early response to Post Production Pro. We knew there was a gap in the market for an integrated information system such as this, and the initial response from facilities confirms that view. We are looking forward to IBC 2007, where we can start introducing the market to the benefits offered by Post Production Pro," said Nick Lightbody, Director Deskspace who added that the product has many benefits comparing well with the other integrated information systems currently used in Post Production.
Staff throughout the post production business can use Post Production Pro to manage their work from handling enquiries and quoting through to the final deliverables, thus reducing both costs and the time spent in managing the project.
