New Ulead HD Plug-in to be showcased at Video Forum 2005

Ulead Systems, a leader in video, imaging, and DVD software development, has announced the availability of the Ulead HD Plug-in 2.0.
This second version of the Ulead HD Plug-in is now equipped to handle high definition video (HDV) content shot with the new Sony HDR-FX1 Handycam camcorder, and will support Sony's HVR-Z1U Professional HDV camcorder and HVR-M10 VTR, due to ship in early 2005. Ulead will showcase the Ulead HD Plug-in 2.0 for MediaStudio Pro 7 at VideoForum 2005 at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre from January 25-27 2005 on stand number VF 560.
The product will be available for sale at the show.
The Ulead HD Plug-in 2.0 gives videographers a way to natively capture, edit, and output high-resolution HDV 1080i without a loss of video quality using the rich video editing feature set within MediaStudio Pro 7, Ulead’s professional post-production video editing suite. With the Ulead HD Plug-in, MediaStudio Pro 7 works with HDV content seamlessly without requiring third party tools or interfaces.
“With our industry-leading expertise in real-time MPEG editing, we were first to market with a native HDV editing solution in the Spring of 2004,” said Mark Wurdemann, UK Marketing Manager for Ulead, “We are pleased to be one of the first to offer an HDV editing solution for Sony’s new HDR-FX1 camcorder.”
The HD Plug-in is available at a cost-effective price point of £179.99 inc Vat.
