Sonic DVD applications now shipping on new PCs from China’s top vendor
|The Lenovo Group Limited, the number-one ranked PC vendor in China and Asia Pacific, has selected Sonic’s award-winning MyDVD as the DVD and VCD creation software for its Tianjiao line of home personal computers.
The deal places Sonic’s industry leading software on the most widely distributed PC systems in China and Asia Pacific and gives Lenovo’s customers the ability to turn their personal video and photo content into compelling, high-quality DVDs and video CDs that they can share with family and friends.
Lenovo Tianjiao PCs are equipped with the latest Intel processors and either a CD-ROM, combo drive (CD-RW/DVD-ROM) or a DVD burner that lets users burn to any recordable DVD format (DVD-R, DVD/-RW, DVD+R, and DVD/+RW) without having to worry about media compatibility.
The combination of Sonic MyDVD with Lenovo Tianjiao A and E series PCs gives users an all-in-one platform for creating and burning great-looking DVDs and VCDs that feature motion menus, animated buttons, and photo slideshows like those found on Hollywood DVDs.
“We are honoured that Lenovo Group has chosen MyDVD for its Tianjiao PCs,” said Koki Terui, Senior Vice-President of Pacific Rim Operations at Sonic Solutions. “Their leading position in Asia Pacific will place Sonic in front of a huge number of new users as we provide them with the best solution available for creating compelling DVDs and VCDs of their personal digital media content.”
Lenovo Group's series of Tianjiao A and E personal computers bundled with MyDVD are now shipping through Lenovo distributors and retail channels throughout China.
