Full-service broadcast postproduction facility blue has completed the online and audio postproduction for Five’s latest series, 'Judgement Day: Images of Heaven and Hell'. The first half-hour episode of the three-part series aired on Five at 7.30pm on Friday November 26.
Produced by Brighton-based Seventh Art Productions, the series is fronted by art expert Tim Marlow. The programmes explore the relationship between art and the afterlife - including Buddhist art, works by Michelangelo, the Ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead and Stanley Spencer's vision of heaven as a small English town. “Whenever we post produce at blue, we know that our films will get good care and attention – the creative talent there is just superb,” said Seventh Art Productions’ producer/director, Phil Grabsky. “The kit that they use is first-rate too, and you know your films are going to be all the better for it.” Clive Mattock, online editor at blue, did all the online work for Judgement Day using the facility’s Avid DS Nitris, while dubbing mixer Matt Skilton completed the audio post using Pro Tools.
