Inscriber releases new version of InfoCaster

Inscriber, the leading provider of broadcast and digital signage solutions, has announced the release of InfoCaster Version 1.3 for the creation, display and management of digital signage networks.
InfoCaster is a powerful, proven solution used by communications professionals around the world for creating and delivering visually superior digital signage networks and information channels. InfoCaster is a scalable solution which provides the ability to create, schedule, manage, distribute and deliver television graphics, large-screen presentations or high-resolution displays on a single television station or thousands of remote plasma monitors across the country.
The new release of InfoCaster includes both enhancements and new features aimed at providing additional creative options and superior content management.
Highlights of InfoCaster 1.3 include: GPU acceleration which enables the creation of even richer InfoCaster presentations; QuickTime support; Oracle ODBC and Microsoft SQL Server support; and Windows XP Service Pack 2 support.
Current uses of InfoCaster include point of purchase displays in retail applications; IP-based television broadcasts for information channels, music channels and shopping channels; corporate communications; menu displays in fast food restaurants; visitor communication networks at banks, stadiums, airports, corporate offices, shopping malls and resorts; student communication networks at high schools, colleges and universities; and many other places where the reliable, timely and visually appealing display of information is important.
