Chyron supply Duet LEX to German World Cup stadium

Germany’s Stuttgart Daimler Stadium has ordered a Duet LEX graphics system from Chyron, in preparation for the World Cup in 2006.
Selected by the planning and operations companies Mevis TV and Wireworx, the Duet LEX will be used as the source for text and graphics displayed in the stadium on two of the largest screens in Europe.
The Duet LEX brings outstanding graphics with real-time animation to applications that require the highest quality yet at an economical price. It is particularly suited to live sports events because of its excellence at handling 3D applications.
The Duet LEX was selected after extensive testing of a range of graphics generators, according to Chyron GMBH Wiesbaden, which is handling the sale and installation. Key abilities highlighted include the huge number of creative possibilities that the technology caters for, ease of use, and, of course, affordability.
