'THE DIGITAL VIDEO SHOW' TO TAKE PLACE IN OCTOBER

The Video Show, the trade show for video and TV professionals and recently rebranded as The Digital Video Show, is to be held at the Winter Gardens Exhibition Centre at Weston from October 2-3, 2001.
Show Director, Alan Torjussen, said: "The Digital Video Show is expanding to include a bigger variety of exhibitors and seminars which will be of interest to producers and technicians working in TV and new media in addition to its regular visitors from the video production sector. The Show is the first opportunity for dealers and manufacturers to exhibit their very latest equipment after IBC."
Attractions will include an extensive array of new kit, particularly digital video cameras, editing solutions and DVD authoring. A range of free seminars and demonstrations from TV, video and new media producers will also be on offer on subjects like ‘Sound for Video’, ‘Using the New Digital Cameras’ and ‘Running a Media Business’. William Garrison, from the University of Plymouth Media Centre, will be presenting the best of video streaming on the Internet.
