RHYS AND FRANCIS TO FILM A PROGRAMME FOR BBC2

WELSH actor Matthew Rhys and Director Karl Francis will be filming a programme for BBC 2 with film students from the International Film School Wales based at the University of Wales College, Newport (UWCN).
Karl Francis is directing the programme featuring Matthew Rhys which is part of an arts educational series called Maestro and Diva. The series will feature other Welsh artists who have been successful in their chosen fields.
During the programme film students will take part in a masterclass with Matthew Rhys who will discuss his career, the successes and the struggles.
Former students include Kirk Jones whose popular film ‘Waking Ned’ grossed £35,000,000 at the box office and Justin Kerrigan, whose hit film Human Traffic won eleven international awards. (CD)
