ADOBE SUPPORTS MICROSOFT WINDOWS XP

Adobe Systems have joined Microsoft in New York City to support the launch of Windows XP and announced the first Adobe product to carry the Designed for Windows XP logo.
The current version of Photoshop Elements software, Adobe's award-winning digital imaging solution designed specifically for amateur photographers, hobbyists and business users, has been certified as meeting the quality standards of Microsoft's Designed for Windows XP logo program.
Adobe supports the direction Microsoft is taking with Windows XP, said Shantanu Narayen, Adobe's executive vice president of worldwide product marketing and development. Windows XP introduces new opportunities for Adobe's customers to have one unified computing experience that looks great, is reliable and is easier to use and support.
The Designed for Windows XP logo will help customers quickly identify products that are designed for and compatible with this new operating system. We're very pleased that Photoshop Elements now carries the Designed for Windows XP logo.
Windows XP provides a tremendous platform for extending the capabilities of the operating system to provide users with the best computing experience, said Chris Jones, vice president of Windows XP at Microsoft. Adobe is helping users to fully unlock the potential of their PCs both at home and at work.
