functionality.
MMC Media Codec Cards
The MMC family features four PCI cards to meet a range of needs, from general-purpose,
real-time capture and playback to real-time decoding from satellite, terrestrial, or private
television networks. Each card comes with SD codec capability, enabling MPEG encoding
and MPEG decoding to be handled by separate hardware. This feature provides the
highest-quality real-time encoding and decoding with complete video format flexibility.
