Broadcast Distribution are the official UK distributor for Broadcast Pix integrated production systems, Slate and Granite. Plura Broadcast monitors, fiber optics and character generators and Cobalt Conversion Gear.

Broadcast Pix Granite combines an HD switcher with an HD server, runs 1080i end to end. With Granite, you can run a mixture of 1080i, 720p and SD, in both 16:9 and 4:3, sync and async. Picture delay is only 1 frame -phenomenal for live events. Granite users can choose from Harris Inscriber CG or Chyron’s Lyric PRO 8 Software to create titles and 3D animations. Titles can be edited live on-air plus the system will also run files that have been created on other Chyron systems and may use their optional AXIS services, enabling instant access to news graphics, maps, weather etc. via an internet connection.


Broadcast Pix Slate system is an integrated live production system that allows you to create live video at a fraction of the cost of a conventional control room – typically saving 70% and requiring less operational staff. Included in each Slate is a production switcher, clip store, graphics store, Harris Inscriber CG Title Motion Pro character generator, comprehensive multi-view monitoring. Fluent workflow software that streamlines production workflow and allows any size of HD or SD clips and graphics to flow into Slate without translation. The software improves integration between the built-in components and with the rest of the studio.

Plura Monitors are available in screen sizes ranging from 7" to 70" supporting HD-SDI, SDI, DVI, HDMI and RGB, plus multi view and a multi format series. Also available is a 4.3” portable test monitor. Plura CGGold and CG Diamond are cost effective character generators. Plura EZlink-3GHD is a compact fibre optic 3GB/s HD-SDI Digital Video Transport System.
