Shakyra’s keen eye for spotting talent recently manifested in ‘Mike’ being the first British short film to receive the ‘Crystal Bear’ at theBerlinale 2014. One of Shakyra’s earliest casting ‘Verity’s Summer’ from Cannes Palm D’Or nominated director Ben Crowe, whose lead actress India Barge-Wilson won Best Actress Award in British Independent Film Festival 2012.
