Mytime Active opt for Club Car Buggies Fleet

Mytime Active, one of the largest pay and play golf operators in the UK, has taken delivery of over 60 new Club Car Precedent i2 golf buggies, across eight of its golf courses.

30 of the new Club Car golf buggies have been put in to Orpington Golf Centre and are now available for golfers to hire across the two 18 hole courses and one 9 hole course. Orpington is one of the largest golf facilities in England, with 54 holes, a brand new FootGolf course, a 28 bay floodlit driving range, pay and play, multiple membership options, function suite, bar, restaurant, two golf shops, a fleet of buggies and expert tuition from PGA professionals.

The Club Car Precedent i2 is the golf car that set the standard for styling and performance – it is the most advanced golf car ever built, with every detail built with the golfer in mind. The Precedent i2 has a spacious bag well, a redesigned interior with more storage space for personal items, together with a monsoon top that channels water away from passengers.

Other Mytime Active golf clubs to benefit from the new Club Car vehicles include Hollingbury Park Golf Course, Dibden Golf Centre, Bromley Golf Centre, Barnehurst Golf Course, Hatchford Brook Golf Centre, Pype Hayes Golf Course and Southampton City Golf Course.

Tom Kenny, Group Course Manager for Mytime Active, said:

“We’ve now got 63 new Club Car buggies and they represent an excellent deal for the company on several levels: They are state of the art and handle very well; they are more energy efficient and save on costs and they mean we can now remove the remainder of petrol-driven vehicles in our fleet which means less pollution.”

Stephen Turner, Director of Golf at Bradshaw, commented:

“We are delighted that Mytime Active has chosen Club Car to be the way forward. Club Car vehicles are not only stylish, but they are reliable, rock solid vehicles that any golfer using one at a Mytime Active golf course can rely on.”

Mytime Active has 16 golf courses located in London, Kent, Hampshire, Sussex and the Midlands.

TONE Scaffolding Services innovates by using Bradshaw…

TONE Scaffolding Services has recently taken delivery of two tow tractors and 4 bespoke industrial platform trailers from Bradshaw.

The vehicles have been put in to Paddington Station to tow large amounts of scaffolding around the site, to locations where the workers need it during the station’s restoration project, which includes refurbishing the platforms, repairing existing structures supporting London Street, building new bridges and walkways together with the installation of new mechanical and electrical systems.

Due to the access restrictions at the station and the large volume and length of the load, TONE Scaffolding required a vehicle with both the manoeuvrability and towing capacity.

The T700 tow tractor, together with bespoke 4 wheel interlinked steering trailers, enables for large volumes and lengths to manoeuvre through tight areas, with 2 or more trailers capable of being linked in series, enabling a larger load to be carried at any one time.

The three-wheel T700 tow tractor from Bradshaw can pull up to 7,000KG, with key features of the electric vehicle including hydraulic drum brakes to all three wheels, electronic regenerative braking under deceleration, dynamic speed sensing to prevent over-speeding in all driving conditions, automatic hill hold and automatically applied transmission parking brake.

Bespoke design for Bradshaw vehicles at Lord Mayor's Show

Thousands of people were in London on Saturday 8th November for this year’s Lord Mayor’s Show.

It may not have been obvious that Bradshaws were there too, and in fact part of the parade; our vehicles were somewhat of a disguise.

Our tow tractor T700 and trailers were underneath and in control of the huge fish for the Worshipful Company of Fishmongers and our tow tractor T800 was very well disguised as a wizard for Russell Beck Studios. We provided the vehicles and transportation of the completed floats, whilst RDW completed the build.

Our experience of providing vehicles for events allowed us to ensure both the vehicles, and finished floats were exactly where they needed to be at the scheduled times.

Bradshaw showcase rental vehicles at Showman's Show

As well as being Britain’s largest manufacturer of industrial electric vehicles, Bradshaw also has over 400 hire vehicles specifically for the events market.

Bradshaw typically supply over 3,000 vehicles a year, to events such as Wimbledon, The British Grand Prix, Glastonbury, Burghley Horse Trials, the Chelsea Flower Show and many more.

This year’s Showman’s Show, held at Newbury Showground on 22nd and 23rd October, was an excellent opportunity for Bradshaw to catch up with existing customers and meet key decision makers within the event industry.

Bradshaw’s Stand on Avenue B, Stand 168, proved popular with a high footfall across the 2 days. Mike Bradshaw, Joint Managing Director at Bradshaw commented: “We enjoyed hosting a busy stand and having the opportunity to meet up with both existing customers and making new contacts, being able to speak to them about transport solutions we can provide for their events. There really are so many different packages we can put together”.

The stand gave visitors to The Showman’s Show a glimpse of what Bradshaw provide, with a range of products displayed on the stand, including a Club Car golf buggy, villager 4 and 6 personnel carriers, capable of taking 4 and 6 passengers respectively, a John Deere Gator, ideal in any weather for a variety of jobs, a turf ambulance conversion, together with a Bradshaw T800 tow tractor, capable of pulling 1100 litre bins, ideal for outdoor events generating a lot waste/recycling.

The success of an event can often hinge on transport, a shortage of security patrols, concession stalls running out of goods, management staff in the wrong place at critical times, all can adversely affect the smooth running and the overall perception of any event.

Bradshaw offer a range of vehicles to suit your needs, whether for transportation of event managers, guests from car parking to event location or load movement. Our flexibility and organisational skills mean that we can usually offer last minute event hire, even on extreme limited notice.

All our buggies arrive fully serviced, spotlessly clean and fully charged/fuelled ready to work on arrival. We are committed to ensuring completely operational buggies throughout your event and have a dedicated 24/7 service line and a team of engineers ready to get the buggy repaired within 24hrs of the call.

Add to this a reliable delivery service and a team of experts means Bradshaw Event Vehicles has the capability to make your event a total success, even at short notice.

Thirsty Work for Bradshaw Event Vehicles

For several years now, Bradshaw Event Vehicles has supplied a number of vehicles for the Peterborough Beer Festival, the biggest outdoor real ale festival in the UK, attracting up to 30,000 visitors every year.

This year, Bradshaw delivered event vehicles including 3 Gators and 7 trailers to The Peterborough Embankment for the 37th annual event. The event vehicles are put in place a week prior to the event to assist with the build, and once the beer and cider is delivered, the trailers are loaded with barrels and the Gators tow the trailers across the large site to deliver the barrels to the tents.

The event, which took place from Tuesday 19th until Saturday 23rd August, featured one of the largest selections of real ale anywhere in the country. Last year, more than 420 different cask beers were on sale from over 170 brewers.
