South Manchester Studios is the largest fully independent TV / Film studio complex in the North of England. Housing two studios, post production and graphics, mass duplication and dubbing, lighting, camera and grip hire, and our own in house production catering. To those who know us well, we are a one stop shop for all your production needs for major Broadcasters, Commercial and Corporate clients, as well as for feature films, television drama and comedy, and music promos, our aim is to supply you with the very best of crew and equipment, as well as all the peace and quiet you need to keep your production on schedule and on budget at every stage.

Studio 1
Working area of 16ft x 30ft equivalent to 480 Square Foot, with a clearance height of 9’6’’.
Studio Sound Deadening.
Equipped with an ‘up and over’ infinity cove (Floor/Wall/Ceiling), and full painting service to white, Chromakey green and blue.
Equipped with 180 degrees tab tracks accommodating blacks and CSO/Chromakey tabs in blue or green.
Power is readily available via single phase 16 amp sockets, 63amp, 3 phase power and dimmer control is available on request.
Drive in access via loading bay and scene dock, entrance into the studio through double doors.
High speed broadband/wireless access.
Studio 2
Secure purpose built sound stage, sealed with secure sound doors.
Floor area of 66ft x 46ft (21m x 14m) . Equivalent to 3036 square foot/294 square meters, with a clearance height of 19ft /5.5m.
Permanent Infinity Cove 40ft x 18ft and laser levelled resin floor. Full painting service to any colour.
360 degree twin tab tracks accommodating 360 degrees black drapes (17ft 3” drop) and white cyclorama drapes (160ft x 19ft). Also available on site are CSO Chromakey tabs in blue and green up to 40ft x 50ft.
