Location Rigging & Safety Services for TV and Film
Hatt Safety provides a range of safety solutions for the television and film industries. We can provide the complete package from location recces to specialist safety rigging at height or on the water, making potentially hazardous or remote locations such as; mountains, cliff tops, tree tops, buildings, rivers, white-water rapids and the sea as safe as possible to use.
Our teams are experienced and skilled safety technicians, with wide ranging backgrounds from Mountain Guides, IRATA Technicians to Swift Water Rescue teams. All of our teams our experienced in the film industry and understand the pressures of filming.
Land Based
We can supply safety and technical advisors, for all types of rope and wire work rigging, from building safety to rock and cliff faces setting up climbing and abseiling rigs and providing mountain guides and logistics. We also supply military advisors for technical accuracy on such jobs as cliff assaults and arctic warfare.
Marine Based
Ranging from indoor swimming pools, fast flowing rivers including white-water, to the sea and coastal waters. Our technicians can not only provide location safety but we can combine this with our rigging services. We can also supply military advisors for powered craft and beach assaults and recces.
Wire Work
Rig your camera crews into virtually any location or angle ensuring you get that perfect shot. At the other end of the camera we can train your cast and crew in the use of specialist safety equipment including flying harness’s and white water rescue equipment.
Location Recces
Sometimes we will need to recce your chosen location to see if it is feasible to achieve your shots. If not, our vast knowledge of extreme and beautiful locations can help you to find the perfect spot for your production. With our extensive knowledge of remote locations we have been commissioned for location recces all over the UK and also provided logistics for photography and film crews.
First Aid & Medical Cover
We also supply medics while shooting on location, this can be extremely advantageous for productions teams who only have to deal with one company for all their safety needs
Our dedicated team of medical professionals range from EMT’s, Paramedics, Nurses and Expedition Doctors.
We also provide an ambulance service if required for particularly hazardous shoots involving action scenes or stunts. |
