SkyPod Aerial Filming

SKYPOD Aerial Media is a specialist aerial-filming company based in East Lothian, Scotland and Buckinghamshire, England. We offer stabilised aerial video up to 4k or in high resolution, still photography using high end, tried and tested UAS (unmanned aerial systems), and the latest gimbal technology. Safety is of the utmost importance to us, so we look after our kit, with many hours in the workshop fettling for every hour on-site. For most applications we will have a minimum of two crew on-site, the pilot and camera operator.

Anything that needs pictures, video or still, from not-that-high to really-quite-high, can benefit from the UAS viewpoint, which fills a gap between full-size aircraft and cranes.

We have recently added the new Freefly Alta to our inventory, which is the latest and greatest in drones, and allows for mounting the Movi M5 gimbal to the top or bottom of the drone, giving a new perspective.

Recent credits include Murder for Touchpaper, Shetland for ITV, Million Pound Homes and Gardens of Evil for RDF Television, and we're about to start work on the remake of Whisky Galore, which starts shooting early August.
